Join us for an educational presentation by experienced attorneys. Then we'll adjourn for lunch and a fun day on the legendary slopes of Mad River Glen.  Participants can purchase reduced lift tickets.

Michael Kennedy is Disciplinary Counsel for the Professional Responsibility Program and investigates

ethics complaints and prosecutes lawyers who violate the Vermont Rules of Professional Conduct. He

routinely appears at presentations throughout the State to discuss issues related to attorney ethics. Mr.

Kennedy graduated from UVM and The George Washington University’s National Law Center. From 1993

to 1998, he was an Assistant Attorney General assigned to the Vermont Department of Corrections. In

1998, Mr. Kennedy was an Assistant Attorney General for the Vermont Department of Mental Health and

later that year accepted a position as Deputy Disciplinary Counsel. Mr. Kennedy was named Disciplinary

Counsel in 2001.

Alison Powers joined Blodgett, Watts, Volk & Sussman, P.C. in early 2011.  She focuses her practice primarily on 

criminal and family law matters.
